AIR Cargo News reviews who has moved where in the air cargo industry recently.

Southern Air Holdings welcomed David Soaper as the new chief operating officer, effective 15 May. Soaper joins Southern Air from Comair, a Delta Connection Carrier, where he held several senior operations management positions over the last 28 years.

Matt Capozzoli has been promoted as United Parcel Service’s (UPS) new vice-president of flight operations of Louisville-based UPS Airlines, replacing the retiring Rick Barr. Capozzoli joined UPS in 1977, starting in ground operations as a package handler, part-time supervisor and driver. He moved up through the company until most recently he was manager of special projects of UPS Airlines.

Regina Airport Authority in Saskatchewan (Canada) has appointed Bob Linner as chairman following Larry Schneider’s resignation after five years. Linner has announced plans to expand the airport’s cargo business.
