Pet store receives corpse not fish

A PET store in Pennsylvania, US received the corpse of an elderly man instead of an airfreight shipment of tropical fish.

US Airways sent the body to the Pet Plus store instead of to a research laboratory 70 miles (112 km) away by accident due to a “verbal miscommunication between a delivery driver and the cargo representative”, according to a statement from the airline.

Mark Arabia, the pet shot owner, said that the fish had been left at the airport to die.
