AIRBRIDGECARGO Airlines (ABC) has transported 1,150 pigs from Winnipeg (Canada) to Domodedovo Airport (Russia).
The animals, weighing a total of 55,000 kg, were transported in special double and triple deck shipping stalls.
The 747F charter flight was the latest in a series of live animal flights operated by ABC including cows, foxes, rare horses, dolphins, walruses and whales.
“We have earned a strong reputation for the quality of our flights and ground services in securing the safe deliveries of a wide range of live animals,” Tatyana Arslanova, executive president of AirBridgeCargo, said.
