Polet opens new European facility

POLET Airlines celebrated the opening of its new European office at Munich Airport, with the arrival of a An-124-100. Anatoly Karpov, chief executive officer of Polet Airlines, Michael Kerkloh, Munich Airport and Markus Sackmann, welcomed everyone to the inauguration.

“We are proud to be here in Munich, Bavaria; in the heart of Germany,” said Karpov.

Following the company’s offices around the world, Limassol, Cyprus; New York, USA and now Munich, Germany, Polet is planning to establish stronger connections with European clients.

“Even though Cyprus has a good location in Europe, we believe the Munich office will give our clients easier access for establishing better communication and cooperation,” said Maxim Klushin, executive director of the Munich office.

“With such a strong demand these days for the An-124, we have managed somehow to organise live presentation of the aircraft here at Munich airport. For most people, this was the first first-hand experience of such a unique aircraft,” said Milenko Strika, marketing director, Polet.
