Rock-It Cargo expands logistics activities

FREIGHT forwarder Rock-It Cargo’s new acquisition of Core Logistic assets will facilitate the movement of heavy goods for events such as music tours and film production.

As part of the deal Los Angeles-based B.E. Logistics and Core Logistics will be integrated to form Rock-It Cargo’s corporate expedited group. This group will handle domestic and international emergency and expedited time definite freight, including high-value, oversized shipments for the hi-tech industry.

Daniel Dvorsky, former president and chief executive officer of B.E. Logistics is now the executive vice-president for the group. Daryl Miller, former chief executive officer of Core Logistics, has been named vice-president and division head.
