Saudia Cargo to transport human organs

SAUDI Airlines Cargo has signed an agreement with the Saudi Centre for Organ Transportation (SCOT) to transport human organs in and out of the Kingdom free of charge.
Under the deal, the time- and temperature-sensitive freight will be given the highest priority in terms of logistics procedures at Saudia Cargo stations, a statement says.
Nabil Khojah, chief executive for Saudia Cargo, explains: “This decision acknowledges our support for the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, which provides humanitarian services toward those in need of human organs.”
The flag-carrier operates a fleet of 16 freighters and sells the belly-capacity on 145 passenger aircraft, spanning a global network of 225 destinations.
