Second Alaskan cargo crash in a week kills three

THREE people were killed when a small freighter crashed in Alaska last week. The twin-engine Fairchild C-123 was registered to All West Freight of Delta Junction, Alaska. It crashed into Mount Healy, party of Denali National Park, on Sunday and exploded on impact.

“There were three people reported to be on board. It appears as if there were no survivors,” the park service said in a statement.

The crash follows another Alaskan cargo crash in the same week. A US military C-17 Globemaster freighter crashed on the Wednesday killing all four on board.
