A FORMER Kitty Hawk vice president has been tempted out of retirement to join Tailwind International Air Charters.
Susan Hawley Condon had a long and distinguished career in the aviation industry before she retired in 2003 to pursue her other passion – breeding horses.
It seems Tailwind’s ambition has now brought her back into the airfreight fold.

Michele Wilkinson, Tailwind chief executive comments: “Tailwind International is pleased to have Susan on our team, she brings an enormous amount of knowledge and creativity to our company and will greatly benefit the aviation community at large.”
As well as working as a pilot and instructor Condon is probably best known in airfreight for her many accomplishments at Kitty Hawk where she ran the mail side of the business.
After leaving Kitty Hawk she founded Postal Air working primarily with the US Postal Service.
