Tan Jr to buy Johnny Air Cargo

TAN Jr Group is expected to finalise its purchase of Johnny Air Cargo this summer.

The group, controlled by Lucio Tan Jr (right), is part of MacroAsia Corporation, which through its subsidiaries, engages in the aviation-related support businesses in the Philippines.

Johnny Air Cargo is a New York-based Filipino cargo delivery and money transfer company.

Tan Jr is said to be interested in building up a network around he and his father’s interests in Philippine Airlines and Philippine National Bank.
