Toll appoints Chinery

TOLL Global Forwarding has appointed former Danzas and DHL man Paul Chinery as airfreight director in the UK.
He will be responsible for developing Toll’s UK air cargo business, including carrier negotiation.
Chinery has spent 20 years in the airfreight industry, starting with Danzas UK in 1993. Before joining Toll, he was general manager of DHL’s London airfreight and logistics operations, where he led a radical restructuring of operations.
Steve Buckerfield, the company’s UK managing director, notes: "His solid operational background and experience of working in merged businesses will enable him to play a key role in taking Toll to the next level in the UK, maximising the opportunities created by its recent major acquisitions."
