UNICEF benefits from Schenkers goodwill

INSTEAD of sending Christmas cards to its customers in 2007, Schenker Limited, the UK arm of the logistics provider, has made a donation of £2,500 to the international children’s charity – UNICEF.
A giant cheque for the amount raised was then handed over to two UNICEF UK executives by Schenker UK’s marketing and communications manager, Carl Hobbis.
“The charity were genuinely grateful for our decision and the resulting donation and we were delighted to be able to make a contribution to such a worthwhile cause,” said Hobbis.
