US and Vietnam sign open skies deal
17 / 12 / 2008
THE US and Vietnam have signed an opens skies agreement on air cargo.
Members of Vietnam’s Civil Aviation Administration and the US Bureau of Economic, Energy and Business Affairs signed the deal in Hanoi. It will see all restrictions lifted to cargo routes between the two countries and for carriers taking freight to or from third countries.
Vietnam looks set to be a growth economy in the near future with knock-on effects to air cargo exports.
