Vorwerk to head Advisory Board

THE Customer Advisory Board of Cargo Network Services (CNS), the US subsidiary of the International Air Transport Association, announced the appointment of Michael Vorwerk as president, effective 1 March, 2009. In his role as president of CNS he will also become executive director of Cargo 2000.

“On behalf of the CNS Customer Advisory Board and the CNS Board of Directors, I am very pleased that Michael Vorwerk will take up the position of president of CNS,” said Aleks Popovich, global head of cargo at IATA. “With his background comprised of both airline and forwarding experience, he brings a unique supply chain perspective to this challenging industry role.”
