VOTING has now closed for this year’s Cargo Airline of the Year competition.
The winners will be announced at a special London gala ball on April 27, an event which is now sold out, reports organiser Pat Cooper.
Cargo Airline of the Year is the oldest, best-established event of its kind, dating back 30 years. It was the brainchild of Air Cargo News’ editor and managing director Nigel Tomkins and is the only such contest where customers vote for their favourite air cargo suppliers. That’s why the awards scheme receives the most respect from the international air cargo industry.
Money raised at the event will go to supporting post-graduate air logistics students at Cranfield University in the UK.
Organiser Pat Cooper is delighted with this year’s ticket sales. "It promises to be a great success again," she says.
