Lufthansa Cargo’s Karl Ulrich Garnadt appointed to Fraport’s board

LUFTHANSA CARGO’s chief executive officer (CEO) Karl Ulrich Garnadt, has been appointed as a member of Fraport’s supervisory board.
The move follows Stefan Lauer’s resignation from the airport’s board at the end of last year.
Garnadt’s appointment is valid until Fraport’s annual general meeting on 30 May this year, when shareholders are expected to confirm his appointment as permanent.
Garnadt was previously a member of the executive board of Lufthansa, responsible for hub management and passenger service.
Karlheinz Weimar, Fraport’s supervisory board chairman, comments: "I look forward to working with Mr Garnadt. His many years of experience in the aviation industry are most welcome. His activities within Lufthansa are an asset to this board.”
