Airbus had a total of 20 net orders and eight cancellations for its A350 production freighter in 2025.

The freighter manufacturer confirmed its A350F orders for 2025 in its orders and deliveries data for the year.

Air China Cargo's November purchase agreement for six A350Fs meant they were the newest airline to Airbus' order book, after the airline revealed plans to order the new generation model at the end of October.

But in the same month, Silk Way West exercised an option for two further A350Fs in addition to an existing order for two of the model.

By the end of November, there was a total of 82 A350F orders from 13 customers.

The A350F has a 111-ton capacity and a range of 8,700 km.

A350F chief engineer Joël Rocker said in November that the company hopes that once the aircraft is in operation and more operational data is available, it will be able to increase the payload tonnage the aircraft is able to offer.

The aircraft manufacturer will undertake test flights on two A350F test aircraft (MSN 700 and MSN 701). These are due to start in the third quarter of next year and take around nine months to complete.

Certification is expected in the second quarter of 2027 and the company is due to begin delivering the A350F in the second half of 2027.

Overall, Airbus delivered 793 commercial aircraft to 91 customers globally in 2025 and registered 1,000 new gross orders in the Commercial Aircraft business.
