The service uses GPS technology and IoT advanced sensors that continuously monitor the cargo’s location, temperature, exposure to light, and physical impacts.

This data is transmitted throughout the entire journey, providing shippers with a detailed and continuous overview of transport conditions at every stage.

The system allows email notifications to be configured for multiple addresses whenever the sensors detect that a predefined threshold has been exceeded (temperature, location, impact/shock force, or package opening/light detection), enabling rapid intervention to safeguard the integrity of the cargo.

TAP Secure Track operates with single-use devices. The sensors are sent to the customer for placement inside the shipment and are activated during the loading process.

Each sensor has a unique identifier, enabling detailed tracking of that specific package throughout its journey, with continuous recording of location and storage-condition data.

This information is available on a web-based platform where alerts can be configured according to the customer’s needs.

Logistics professionals are thus able to control each shipment at any time—an option that reduces costs associated with loss of location, cold chain breaches, or security incidents.

This new service was developed primarily for sectors such as the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, electronics, high-value goods, and temperature-sensitive products, where compliance with stringent standards and cargo protection are decisive factors.
