Aircraft charter broker Air Charter Service (ACS) has continued to expand its office presence with the opening of a new base in Australia.
The new office opened in Perth at the start of September and is the company’s third location in Australia.
ACS chief executive Justin Bowman said: ”Following the outstanding success of our offices in Sydney and Brisbane, we have been looking to add a Western office for some time.
”Australia is an important market for us, and we are aiming to capitalise on Perth’s role as the country’s resource and energy capital, and the city’s strong overall economy.”
The office will be led by Stephen Fernandez, who joined ACS almost 20 years ago. Fernandez worked at ACS’ London headquarters before moving to Hong Kong and becoming regional director for ACS’s Asia Pacific (APAC) offices.
Bowman said that during his time in Hong Kong, Fernandez grew the business in the region considerably.
“We believe he is the right person to make this office a real success,” said Bowman.
Fernandez added: “I can’t wait to get started here, and build a team – Australia is such a strong market for ACS, with our other two offices in the country performing very well and enjoying a 24% growth in revenue this year.”
ACS has added a spate of new offices this year. In April, the company opened its fourth office in Germany.
This followed the opening of an office in Montreal in March and a new base in Italy in February.
