WCAworld, described as the world’s largest and most powerful network of independent freight forwarders, has brought its WCA eCommerce network together with World Parcel Alliance, both entities that operate under the WCAworld brand, to form WCA eCommerce Solutions.

WCA eCommerce Solutions is to be a network bridging the gap between first, middle and final mile logistics for digital commerce.

The move was announced at the WCAworld Regional Conference currently under way in Miami, Florida, and is said by WCAworld to be the result of feedback from its members and “something that truly fulfills a need for them”.

“Members needed a place where they could come together to share ideas, grow their businesses and ensure they are on the front foot in finding solutions for both their business and clients,” a WCAworld statement said.

This is the need that WCA eCommerce Solutions seeks to meet, being a “space where businesses can come together and grow together”.

Dan March, chief executive of WCAworld, commented: “WCA eCommerce Solutions is a natural progression that has come from member-to-member interaction surrounding the growth of eCommerce and them wanting to be at the forefront of innovation and business growth in this area.”

He said that WCA eCommerce Solutions offers members “a solution that will lead to the continued growth of their businesses”.
