Group results
The K+N Group’s second quarter net turnover was CHF6bn, up 1.7% year on year.
Gross profit was down 0.5% and EBIT was down 14.9%.
K+N said it was impacted by market uncertainty with demand and rates for its sea logistics division particularly “volatile”, but the company said it “successfully offset declining (sea) volumes to and from the US with gains in other markets”.
Stefan Paul, chief executive of K+N, said: “Our solid operational performance in the first half of 2025 once again demonstrated our resilience in a challenging market environment.
“The push of our strategic sales initiatives is proving to be highly effective. In Sea Logistics, we increased volumes by 2%, and in Air Logistics by 7% – that’s well above overall market growth.
“With these measures, we have laid the foundation to gain further market share, particularly in Sea and Air Logistics.”
K+N retained its position as the top airfreight forwarder last year.
