GSSA FlyUs Aviation Group has appointed Fiona Braybrook to the newly created role of regional sales executive for the North of England.
In her new role, Braybrooke will lead external sales activities for FlyUs across the Midlands and the North of England, while also taking responsibility for key cargo hubs in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Braybrooke has more than 35 years of experience in aviation. According to her LinkedIn profile, she most recently spent six years working for Global Airline Services as area manager for the north of the UK.
Previously, she has worked for Globe Air Cargo, Cargonet, Airbridge International Agencies, HAE, Air Logistics and Servisair.
The GSSA said the new position is part of its strategy of targeting growth across the UK and reinforces its capabilities further north of its established presence at Heathrow.
James Gidlow, group commercial director, said: “Her wealth of industry knowledge will both enhance and complement our existing team, and I’m confident her extensive experience will have a significant impact across our operations in the UK.”
