Uzbekistan-based My Freighter has signed an interline agreement with Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the national flag carrier of Bangladesh.
The partnership establishes a new cargo corridor between Bangladesh in South Asia and Central Asia, leveraging Biman’s wide regional coverage and My Freighter’s direct freighter operations from Dubai World Central (DWC) to Tashkent, said My Freighter in a LinkedIn post today.
"Biman operates an extensive cargo network from Dhaka to major hubs across the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia — including frequent flights to Dubai, a critical transit point for air cargo," said My Freighter.
"With this interline agreement, shipments originating in Bangladesh can seamlessly connect via Dubai onto My Freighter’s dedicated freighter flights to Tashkent, creating a faster and more reliable routing option between the two regions."
My Freghter further added that the partnership offers faster transit from Dhaka to Uzbekistan and neighbouring countries and optimised cargo connectivity via a joint Dhaka–Dubai–Tashkent lane.
According to the airline, the agreement also enables improved access to Bangladeshi textile and pharmaceutical exports for the Central Asian market and a scalable solution to serve key sectors like apparel, healthcare, e-commerce, and high-value goods.
My Freighter has also signed interline agreements with Icelandair Cargo and Aeromexico.
