The cargo division of IAG will benefit from London Gatwick-Bangkok services and Heathrow-Abu Dhabi operations, as well as Dublin-Madrid widebody connections

IAG Cargo will be able to offer customers additional capacity and connectivity across key global trade lanes this winter with the routes offered by International Airlines Group’s (IAG) passenger airlines.
The cargo division of IAG, which operates and sells cargo capacity on British Airways, Iberia, Level and Aer Lingus flights, said flights will resume between London Gatwick (LGW) and Bangkok (BKK), with six weekly services, while operations will be restarted between London Heathrow (LHR) and Abu Dhabi (AUH), with seven flights per week.
For Irish exporters, a new twice-weekly widebody service between Dublin (DUB) and Madrid (MAD) will open up new trade opportunities across Latin America, stressed IAG Cargo.
IAG’s DUB-Miami (MIA) service will be reintroduced with three weekly flights, while a new route between MAD and Orlando (MCO) will also be launched. Dallas (DFW) is also back on schedule with seven flights per week from LHR.
In addition to these new and returning routes, capacity will also be increased on several existing services. Flights between LHR and Cape Town (CPT) will increase from seven to 17 per week, while the LHR-MIA route will double from seven to 14 weekly services.
Capacity will also be added between LHR and Bahrain (BAH), with services rising from three to seven flights per week.
The winter schedule runs from 26 October until 28 March 2026.
Camilo Garcia Cervera, chief sales and marketing officer at IAG Cargo, said: “The winter season is a crucial time for global trade, and we’re particularly pleased to see Bangkok return to the network, a key market for many of our customers.
“The introduction of a widebody connection between Dublin and Madrid further strengthens our network, providing greater access to key transatlantic and Latin American trade lanes.
“With more wide-body services, greater frequencies, and four hubs, we give businesses of all sizes reliable and timely access to access markets worldwide.”
Out of London, IAG Cargo offers capacity to six continents with over 600 weekly widebody services. Additionally, Dublin serves as a gateway to North America, with over 80 weekly widebody rotations.
The business now offers over 240 weekly widebody services connecting Madrid and Barcelona, with destinations across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
IAG Cargo recorded a rise in cargo volumes and cargo revenue in the second quarter of 2025, driven by investment in digital infrastructure and service improvement.
