Project freight forwarder Trans Global Projects (TGP) has launched a dedicated airfreight unit in Bremen, Germany, as it targets the time-critical and complex cargo segments.

To lead the new team, the company has appointed Tobias Teichmann as head of airfreight Germany.

He brings more than a decade of experience in managing complex airfreight services, having previously served as airfreight manager at Alexander Global Logistics and also spending nearly 10 years at Kopf & Lübben, specialising in charter solutions and engineered transport.

“It’s about speed, safety, and flexibility – delivered by a team that understands the complexity of project cargo,” Teichmann said.

The Bremen department will operate under its own International IATA licence. It will complement sister firm Natco’s airfreight and air charter operations in both Switzerland and Brazil.

“These locations have supported urgent and oversized cargo movements for years, providing tailored charter solutions and engineering-driven planning for complex shipments,” the company said in a press release.

Andreas Menzel, managing director Germany and Benelux, said: “This investment reflects our commitment to Northern Europe. Bremen will serve as a hub for urgent shipments and engineered solutions, supported by Natco’s airfreight and air charter expertise and our global resources.”

Last year, the company appointed Ben Taylor as the general manager of its UK business as it looks to benefit from growth in the energy sector.
