DSV is growing further in the US with the start of construction on its new Arizona regional headquarters for the southwestern US.

The $14.5m, 950,000 sq ft facility will serve as a hub for DSV customers and house all service offerings, including air, sea, and road transport, and contract logistics, with plans to employ approximately 160 employees.

Located in Mesa, Arizona, the facility is close to Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA), otherwise known as Phoenix-Mesa Gateway, and major transportation routes. The facility also offers proximity to key semiconductor manufacturers, enhancing DSV's ability to serve semiconductors, consumer products, technology, and other industries in the region with specialised logistics solutions.

"We've watched Arizona's incredible growth in manufacturing and distribution, and we're building this facility to support that momentum," said Josh Summers, chief executive, DSV Contract Logistics North America.

"Arizona is the perfect place to continue our own growth and forge connections that will shape the future of supply chain management across multiple industries."

"This new DSV facility represents a significant addition to Mesa's growing technology corridor and strengthens our position in the semiconductor supply chain," added Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman.

"By bringing multiple logistics divisions under one roof in our city, DSV is creating valuable jobs and supporting the continued economic growth of our region."

DSV established operations at AZA in 2023 to support its customers within the semiconductor industry in Arizona, and to expand its cross-border services to Latin America.

The forwarder's operations out of AZA are part of its Atlas Air-operated air charter network. The 747F flights connect with Latin America and Europe

To support flights, DSV invested in its own airport hangar and ground handling equipment.

Last year, DSV expanded its “Shanghai Star” airfreight charter route from Shanghai Pudong International (PVG) to Latin America.
