Animal transport firm Intradco Global has appointed Dennis Christen as global product manager for wildlife, zoological, and marine logistics.
Christen has more than 35 years of experience in aquariums, zoological institutions and rescue and rehabilitation programmes and has managed large-scale animal transports from the client side.
Prior to his new role, Christen spent 19 years working at the Georgia Aquarium, eight years at the Alaska SeaLife Center and eight years at the Vancouver Aquarium.
His appointment comes as animal welfare during transportation has become an area of increased focus.
