Having worked at several Fortune 500 organisations, Subramanian brings expertise to Kale’s strategy of future-proofing products through advanced technologies that maximise scalability, enhance product capabilities, and expand their global reach, said the company.

“Having Rajan on board really emphasises Kale’s commitment to developing cutting-edge technological solutions; we believe his promising track record as a tech leader in fortune 500 companies worldwide will boost Kale’s brand equity further across the global stage,” said Kale co-founder and director Rajesh Panicker.

“We look forward to our technology-centric future with Rajan’s presence in our organisation.”

The appointment is part of Kale’s push to further its AI reach, which included the launch of its AI website that is designed to inform customers how AI can be utilised to improve the efficiency of supply chains.

In September 2024, Kale appointed Tribhuwan Negi as chief technology officer as the company looked to develop new artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

Kale has also appointed a new Australian team to push its expansion into Oceania.

Incorporated in 2009, Kale is a global vertical SaaS company, providing a suite of software solutions for the logistics industry.

Its flagship product is the Cargo Community Platform, which offers a single source of data to support operational flows, disseminate information to various stakeholders and facilitate the paperless exchange of trade-related data between stakeholders.

Kale’s other offerings include several SaaS solutions catering to a wide network of Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and helping strengthen and improve their operational and business capabilities.

The company has offices in India, Malaysia, UAE, Kenya, Republic of Congo, Japan, Netherlands, Colombia, Canada, and the US.
