Former DB Schenker UK chief executive brings multi-regional experience across automotive, technology and retail sectors to the Swiss forwarder
Kuehne+Nagel (K+N) has appointed Aaron Scott as national manager for the UK as it looks to strengthen its market position in the UK.
Scott currently works for DSV where he is senior vice president, contract logistics for the Benelux region. He previously worked for DB Schenker as chief executive for the UK and Ireland before it was taken over by DSV earlier this year.
He will start in his new role on 1 May of next year.
K+N said he had an international career spanning Europe, including the UK, the Americas, Africa and Asia Pacific, adding that he has "consistently delivered strong business results" and "delivered on large-scale transformation projects".
"Scott has in-depth knowledge in multiple industries, including Automotive, Technology and Retail,” the forwarder added.
“I am excited to join Kuehne+Nagel, which is known in the industry for its excellent customer service and technological advancement," Scott said. "The ability to partner with customers, rethinking their supply chains and making them resilient is key and will drive growth in the future."
He has also previously worked for DHL Supply Chain, Wincanton and EV Cargo Logistics.
