Air cargo association TIACA is calling for nominations for its Hall of Fame Award, while its Rising Star and Inspirational Leadership Awards are also open for entry.

The Hall of Fame award honours leaders who have "inspired progress, driven innovation, and shaped the industry across air, land, and sea”, TIACA said in a press release.

Nominees may come from any sector of the air cargo and logistics ecosystem, provided they meet the programme’s eligibility and nomination criteria.

Nominations may be submitted by individuals or organisations, with supporting documentation that demonstrates the nominee’s contribution and influence.

The nomination period for the 2026 TIACA Hall of Fame Award will run until 26 March.

Following the close of nominations, candidates will be reviewed through a structured evaluation and digital voting process by the TIACA Executive Committee and the Hall of Fame Jury, which includes representatives from the TIACA Board and Chairmans Council.

“The TIACA Hall of Fame represents the very best of our industry, those individuals whose leadership, vision, and commitment have created meaningful and enduring change,” said Roos Bakker, TIACA chair.

“We encourage the entire global cargo community to take part in this process by nominating the leaders who have inspired them and helped move our industry forward.”

TIACA director general Glyn Hughes added: "This award is about recognising impact over a lifetime, not a single achievement,” said Glyn Hughes, TIACA director general. “The Hall of Fame shines a light on those who have challenged the status quo, championed progress, and helped define the modern air cargo and logistics industry.”

Last year, United Cargo president Jan Krems was inducted into the association’s Hall of Fame

Meanwhile, the association has also opened nominations for its Inspirational Leader Award and Rising Star Award.

The Rising Star Award honours individuals under the age of 35 who are making a meaningful impact on the air cargo and logistics industry through innovation, leadership, and measurable achievement.

The Inspirational Leader Award is presented to an individual who demonstrates inspirational leadership, innovation, dedication and commitment to the air cargo and logistics sector, positive impact on society and digitalisation and meaningful influence on the growth and development of young talent.
