The logistics provider is deploying cargo.one's Advanced Rate Management, Quotes API and Live Estimates data to replace legacy systems

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics aims to optimise shipment quoting and booking by integrating cargo.one technology into its in-house systems worldwide.
The logistics provider will integrate cargo.one technology, including its Advanced Rate Management, Quotes API, Live Estimates data, and cargo.one pro, for the procurement and sales of its air capacity.
The collaboration supports Hellmann's drive for efficiency and automation, raise team productivity and win rates, and enhances customer experiences, said air cargo booking portal, cargo.one.
Martin Habisreitinger, chief operating officer airfreight at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, commented: “The new technology significantly enhances the digital customer experience and marks a key milestone in realising our strategic ambition, which places customer experience at the core of everything we do. Cargo.one’s technology equips Hellmann to gain full oversight over and a competitive advantage from our air procurement function – allowing us to capitalise upon our strong carrier relationships, optimise our rate setting, and drive competitive advantage.”
Hellmann’s upgraded infrastructure includes complete rate and charge management for its buy and sell rates, local charges and trucking costs. Cargo.one’s Advanced Rate Management offers enhanced rate visibility and global and local rate management.
By building cargo.one’s Quotes API into its proprietary ‘HITS’ quotation system, fully integrated with its CargoWise One TMS, Hellmann can generate quotes at ultra-fast speeds, explained cargo.one.
Replacing multiple legacy solutions with cargo.one‘s integrated solution landscape, Hellmann's teams will use a single sophisticated system and the strongest rate and cost data in every quotation process, said cargo.one.
The company added that teams are better equipped to handle pricing and route complexities and offer customers highly accurate and compelling rates. The roll-out also supports Hellmann to benefit from structured data-driven analyses of its procurement performance.
Moritz Claussen, founder and co-chief executive of cargo.one, said: "The latest infrastructure and tooling from cargo.one now elevates Hellmann’s teams with the optimal rate transparency, consistency and management they require to craft winning, value-added solutions."
Oliver Marschall, vice president global airfreight operations & procurement at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, added: “Hellmann is capitalising upon a transformative shift in modern logistics technology.
"With our modernised digital set-up, we ensure consistent access to the most accurate and competitive end-to-end pricing, boost our market responsiveness, and apply insights to continually improve our operational performance.”
Last month, cargo.one introduced five artificial intelligence (AI) tools that it believes will speed up freight forwarder workflow.
