Qatar Airways Cargo customers will be able to use the CargoAi CargoMart booking portal to make interline bookings following the launch of a new module on the platform.
The CargoMART Interline module allows airlines to instantly check and book interline capacity across multiple partners, eliminating the need for manual coordination often across different time zones.
The Interline tool digitalises and automates interline capacity checks and e-bookings, rather than using emails and phone calls.
This will help reduce operational complexity, CargoAi said in a press release.
“Digitalisation remains a cornerstone of Qatar Airways Cargo’s strategic vision,” said Mark Drusch, chief officer Cargo at Qatar Airways.
”Our continued collaboration with CargoAi and the introduction of CargoMART Interline reinforces our commitment to innovation, enabling us to optimise interline partnerships and deliver a seamless, efficient digital booking experience for customers across an expanded global network.”
Qatar Cargo has been listing its capacity on the CargoAi booking platform for about three years.
Since the start of its partnership, more than 30,000 bookings have been made via CargoAi platform for Qatar Airways flights.
Matt Petot, chief executive of CargoAi, added: “With the CargoMART Interline module, Qatar Airways Cargo can now scale its partnerships effortlessly and optimise interline revenue — a game changer for airlines seeking to maximize network synergies through technology.”
CargoAi added interline bookings to its CargoMart third-party booking portal earlier this year.
