Orlando, Florida-headquartered freight forwarder Allstates WorldCargo has acquired Seattle, Washington-based freight forwarder Red Arrow Logistics.
Red Arrow Logistics specialises in sensitive, time-critical airfreight logistics and works across a variety of industries, including aerospace, electronics, and consumer products.
The company partners with 20 airlines to offer air transportation solutions globally and expedited freight domestically. It also offers ocean and customs compliance services.

As part of the acquisition, Red Arrow will rebrand to the Allstates WorldCargo name. Full continuity of service throughout the integration process is expected.
In addition, Liz Lasater, formerly chief executive of Red Arrow Logistics, will join Allstates WorldCargo in a senior leadership role.

In February, Allstates WorldCargo acquired fellow forwarder Saturn Freight Systems, headquartered in Georgia.
Allstates WorldCargo was founded in 1961 and offers domestic air and ground services, international air, ocean and documentation services, trucking, warehouse and distribution, and technology solutions.
