My Freighter has begun flying to Maastricht Aachen Airport (MST) in the Netherlands to target e-commerce, automotive, general cargo and flower business.

The Uzbekistan-based cargo airline, hubbed in Tashkent (TAS), will operate two flights a week to the Dutch airport using a Boeing 767-300 freighter, said MST in a press release on 20 August.

"Maastricht Aachen Airport welcomes the first flight of My Freighter today with a festive water salute. The flight is the first in a series of flights in which the Uzbek airline flies cargo to and from the airport twice a week," said MST.

The route will connect Shanghai Pudong (PVG), TAS, Almaty (ALA) in Kazakhstan and MST, added the airport.

MST is not the first airport in the Netherlands to be added to My Freighter's network. In July, My Freighter announced it would launch twice-weekly scheduled cargo flights from PVG to Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) via TAS.

In August, My Freighter officially started scheduled cargo operations with the launch of this new route.

In July, My Freighter also carried out its first flight from TAS to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) in eastern China.

This followed a network expansion in July 2024 that saw My Freighter begin operating flights to PVG and Ezhou Huahu (EHU) after receiving authorisation to carry out flights on routes to and from Mainland China in April that year.

My Freighter has eight 767-300 freighters. Seven of the freighters are passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversions and one is a production freighter. In March, My Freighter also added a Boeing 757-200P2F to its fleet.

In addition, the airline has a passenger fleet of 7 aircraft, consisting of Airbus A319, A320 and A321 models.

MST aims to further boost its cargo operations with 200,000 tonnes of cargo and 600,000 passengers by 2030. Aside from My Freighter, MST is also part of the route network at Royal Jordanian, Turkish Cargo, Atlas Air, Ethiopian Airlines and Emirates Skycargo.
