
Atlas Air will, from this month, fly a Boeing 747-400F widebody freighter on behalf of Turkish Cargo to key destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
The partnership between Istanbul-based Turkish Cargo and Atlas Air's parent company, Atlas Air Worldwide will see flights carried out on a "regular basis" from May said Turkish, although the airline did not provide any further information at this stage.
This partnership will contribute to Turkish Cargo’s capacity expansion and enable the company to deliver faster and more efficient solutions to its customers.
Turkish Airlines chairman of the board and the executive committee, Ahmet Bolat, stated: “Built on mutual trust and a shared vision with Atlas Air, we believe this collaboration will create long-term value and further strengthen our position within the global logistics ecosystem.”

Turkish Cargo has also this month signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hong Kong Air Cargo to explore how to further collaborate in air cargo operations through aligned commercial strategies and joint operational initiatives.
