Chapman Freeborn has expanded its presence in China with a larger country headquarters as it looks to capitalise on “rapid growth” and "rising demand".

The charter firm has moved to an expanded Shanghai office from where it will offer air cargo charter, international freight forwarding, aircraft leasing, live animal transport, passenger charter, and end-to-end specialist delivery services.

The company operates four other offices in the country and said the move to larger premises will "accommodate its team’s rapid growth and rising demand for integrated air logistics solutions".

“This relocation signifies a strategic upgrade in our China operations and will inject new vitality into our business expansion in China and the Greater China region,” said Allen Liu, president – Greater China, Chapman Freeborn.

“The larger office space and optimised functional layout will accommodate more diverse business teams, promote interdepartmental collaboration, strengthen our resource pool and execution capabilities, and help us provide higher-quality and more comprehensive services to our clients.”

To mark the occasion, Chapman Freeborn’s team in Shanghai held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with a traditional firecracker send-off.
