The Board of Directors of Kuehne+Nagel International has appointed Marcus Claesson as its chief information officer.

Claesson will take over from Martin Kolbe, who will retire on October 1 after 20 years on the Kuehne+Nagel management board.

He brings more than 25 years of experience in IT leadership roles. Since 2019, he has served as chief information officer Daimler Truck and prior to that, he was responsible for IT commercial vehicles at Daimler.

In 2007, Claesson joined Electrolux in Stockholm, Sweden. From 2010 to 2016, he held the role of chief information officer of Electrolux and chief executive of Electrolux IT Solutions.
