4RCargo has signed up Roman Taborsky as its new Austria country manager as it continues to expand in Europe.
The Warsaw-headquartered General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) said Taborsky would lead its operations in Austria, an airfreight gateway for the pharma, luxury, and consumer goods markets.
Taborsky is responsible for 4RCargo’s services through Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Graz, and Linz, as the country continues to see growing demand for its airfreight capacity.
“GSSAs need strong local experience, with reliable and resilient solutions for airlines and their customers,” said Pawel Kazmierczak, managing director, 4RCargo.
“Roman brings over a decade of experience in the Austrian air cargo market and shares our innovative mindset to drive growth in the region.”
Taborsky added: "4RCargo is committed to being a true GSSA partner for airlines, while innovating and investing in the future.
“The Austrian market is very competitive, and 4RCargo’s reliable and hands-on approach to service is perfect for these dynamic conditions, and I am excited to lead business development in this area.”
Taborksy’s appointment follows 4RCargo's efforts to expand. The GSSA recently opened a new office in Bratislava, Slovakia and expanded its services in Hungary and Austria.
