UK-based animal transport service provider Animal Aircare has appointed Jake Holliday as its UK manager.

Holliday joined the company during its Heathrow opening phase back in 2021 and has helped oversee the company’s expansion to Luton and Stansted. The company also has a presence at Gatwick Airport.

”Jake will continue to concentrate his efforts on the Heathrow and Gatwick products while exploring and expanding on existing business and new opportunities,” the company said in a press notice.

Animal Aircare manages the Border Control Post (BCP) at London Gatwick Airport, which incorporates the Animal Reception Centre (ARC) there, as well as an ARC facility at Heathrow.

Its Animal Welfare Officers are responsible for the safe and secure handling of all animals entrusted into their care whilst the animals stay in their temporary airport accommodation.

Late last year, the animal transportation company announced that it had been selected by IAG Cargo to serve as its export partner for animals at Heathrow, in addition to having been its animal import partner since February 2023.

More recently, Animal Aircare was selected by Turkish Cargo as its new animal import and export partner ARC at Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
