Lufthansa Cargo has appointed Frank Bauer as its new chief operating officer (COO), while Gregor Schleussner will replace him in his current role of chief financial officer (CFO).

Bauer, who will start in his new role on 1 July, began his career at Lufthansa Cargo in 2007 before moving to Jade Cargo in China three years later.

He returned to Deutsche Lufthansa in 2012 and held numerous management positions before joining Lufthansa-owned Eurowings with responsibility for finance and human resources.

Since August 2023, he has been responsible for finance and human resources at Lufthansa Cargo.

Schleussner will also start in his new role on 1 July. His areas of responsibility at Lufthansa Cargo include human resources, finance & controlling, legal, corporate & political affairs, information management and supply management & infrastructure.

He joins from Eurowings where he is head of finance, controlling & accounting.
