Saudia Cargo to operate direct freighters to Malpensa

Saudi Airlines Cargo has launched a three times a week B747-400 freighter schedule between Riyadh and the Italian hub of Milano Malpensa Airport (MXP).
“By operating direct freighter flights into Malpensa we are offering first class connections from our entire network including Hong Kong, China, Bangladesh and India right to the industrial center of Italy, thus proving our commitment to the Italian market” said Nabil Khojah, chief executive of Saudi Airlines Cargo.
The carrier used to take exports on the way back from Brussels airport to Saudi Arabia, while the introduction of direct MXP services allows for export cargo as well.
The Saudi carrier operates a fleet of 15 freighters and sells the belly-capacity on 145 passenger aircraft for Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier Saudia, spanning a global network of 225 destinations.
