KRL promotes Phythian to managing director

KRL managing director Peter Phythian

Logistics firm and aircraft charter service provider KRL has appointed Peter Phythian as its new managing director. 

Phythian is promoted from his current role of operations director.

Under his new role, all of the KRL group companies, including KRL UK, World Transhipment Services Limited (WTS), KRL Forwarding Ireland Limited, KRL Inc (USA), VN Cargo Connect Limited and Just Vans South West Limited, will now report to him. 

KRL said that during his 12 years at the company, Phythian has been “a leader of change”

He first joined the company as Manchester Branch manager and has overseen some of its largest and most successful projects.

“This appointment further demonstrates our commitment to ensure the development and growth of all the companies within the KRL Group,” the company said in a statement.

“As KRL strive to both grow and develop services for the benefit of our Group, our agents, and our customers, the KRL Board would like to wish Peter all the very best in his new role and look forward to this new era for the KRL Group.”
