Silk Way Airlines USA announces new Americas vice president

Silk Way Airlines USA (SWA USA) has appointed Fadi Nahas as vice president of the Americas.

Nahas has more than 30 years of experience in supply chains, transportation, logistics and sales, as well as more than 25 years of management experience.

Nahas will be responsible for managing business development initiatives for Silk Way organisations – SWA USA, Silk Way West airlines and affiliated cargo carriers from Azerbaijan – in the Americas region.

In addition, he will facilitate the company’s relationship with Global Feeder Services Holding (GFS), the newly-appointed exclusive general sales and service agent (GSSA) responsible for driving sales activity in the US on behalf of SWA USA and its related carriers.

With the appointment of GFS, Silk Way’s customers will continue to have access to Silk Way Airlines’ and Silk Way West Airlines’ air cargo transportation products and network of destinations.

Wolfgang Meier, president of Silk Way West Airlines, said: “We believe Nahas’ many years of experience in progressive supply chain, transportation, logistics and sales will add great value for our customers. We are excited to work with him toward strengthening our valued customer relationships and building upon Silk Way’s proven record of success in delivering excellent cargo solutions to customers around the world.”
