Swiss WorldCargo announces winter flight schedule

Swiss WorldCargo, the airfreight branch of Swiss Airlines, has released its winter flight schedule, which includes new destinations and increased capacity on Asia routes.

From February 1, a Boeing 777-300ER service will fly once a day to Tokyo. From March 1, there will be a service to Oska, Japan’s third-largest city, using an Airbus A340-300.

Swiss WorldCargo’s winter schedule already includes daily flights to key hubs in North America, including New York, Newark, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Montreal, and Chicago. The airline will also now offer additional flights to and from Miami.

Ashwin Bhat, Head of Cargo, Swiss International Air Lines, commented: “We look forward to augmenting our customer offering in Japan.

“With additional capacity to Tokyo, as well as our first ever direct flights to Osaka, we will be able to provide even better service in the region. Likewise, we will re-commence flights in select destinations in Asia and boost capacity in North America, thus rounding out our strong presence in both areas.”

The airline’s flights to Colombo will resume on October 31, operated by an Airbus A340-300; the Phuket service will resume on November 3, operated by an Airbus A340-300; and flights to Ho Chi Minh City will resume on November 18, operated by an Airbus A340-300.
