Etihad appoints new senior vice president global sales and distribution

Etihad Aviation Group has announced its new senior vice president global sales and distribution: Duncan Bureau.

Based at Etihad’s global headquarters in Abu Dhabi, Bureau will report to the group’s chief commercial officer, Robin Kamark, and his role will involve driving group’s global commercial strategy.

With more than 25 years’ of experience in the industry, Bureau is a well-known figure in the aviation sector. His most recent role was president at Air Canada Rogue, the low-cost subsidiary of Air Canada. Prior to this, Bureau was vice president global sales at Air Canada.

Bureau also spent ten years at Canadian carrier, WestJet, and two years at Malaysia Airlines as senior vice president global sales and distribution.
