Maestro announces partnership with Emirates Skycargo in Chicago

Emirates SkyCargo has announced that Maestro International Cargo will be one of its new pharma handling partners.

At Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Maestro operates a state-of-the-art, three-zone, GDP-certified cooler dedicated to handling pharma products at temperatures ranging from 8 to 25C.

Edip Pektas, managing partner of Maestro International Cargo, said: “An airline and handling company working closely hand-in-hand nowadays is rare. Emirates shared with us their needs and vision and we developed our solution to meet the high standards they set for themselves.”

Jannie Davel, vice president of cargo commercial at Emirates Americas, commented: “Our partnership with Maestro has had a great start and we look forward to steadily increasing the number of pharmaceuticals moving in and out of Chicago with their support.”

As a non-exclusive partner of Emirates SkyCargo, Maestro’s airside, handling, warehousing and pharmaceutical cooler are all available to scheduled airlines and charter operators coming into and out of Chicago.
