Wilson scoops new role at Pilot Freighter Services

Freight forwarder Pilot Freight Services has promoted Rochelle Wilson to vice president, field sales.

In this newly-created role, Wilson will be responsible for growing local sales and working closely with the regional vice presidents and local sales team to increase productivity and results.

The company said that Wilson will focus on customer relationships and “strengthening engagement on a local sales level by using Pilot’s vast network to create client-focused solutions”.

Wilson served the past two years as a member of Pilot’s international team as director of global business development.

“Leveraging her expertise in domestic and global sales, and operations, she fostered relationships with new clients for truck brokerage, contract logistics, customs brokerage and domestic B2B as well as global air and ocean products,” Pilot said.

“Wilson demonstrates a deep understanding of how to leverage Pilot’s range of transportation and logistics services to create unique client-focused solutions,” said John Hill, president and chief commercial officer of Pilot Freight Services. “She will be instrumental in supporting Pilot’s regional and local teams in helping to build new client relationships and reinforce existing with a fresh perspective.”
