CargoLogic Germany confirms return of Näther

CargoLogic Germany (CLG) has confirmed changes to its management team.

From early August, Dierk Näther will replace Johannes Jähn, who stepped down from his managing director role in July.

Näther has worked in the aviation industry for more than 25 years. He joined the Volga-Dnepr Group in a managing role in 2016 and prior to that he was chief executive at Leipzig/Halle Airport for seven years.

“Näther has deep knowledge in airport management, as well as extensive contacts in the region, which will take the quality management of services provided to a new level and will significantly contribute to an effective interaction with customers and partners in the region,” a spokesperson for CargoLogic Germany said.

“He has ambitious tasks to expand and improve the efficiency of the airline, as well as to improve the quality of interaction with regional customers”.

For Näther, the appointment is a comeback at CLG — he was previously the operations manager of the company during its foundation in 2018 with the title, accountable manager.

The airline gained AOC certification in September last year and launched services shortly after.

The carrier operates three B737-400Fs but has ambitions to grow its fleet to ten aircraft, targeting the express and e-commerce markets.
