Emirates SkyCargo launches Guadalajara freighter service

Emirates SkyCargo has launched a new service to Guadalajara in Mexico – its second cargo destination in Mexico and 15th in the Americas.
The service, which commences next week, will utilise Boeing 777-F aircraft, which offer 100 tonnes of cargo capacity per flight.
Flights to Guadalajara will operate on Mondays and Fridays. On both days, Flight EK 9936 will arrive at Guadalajara from Mexico City at 7.20am local time and will depart at 9.20am local time.
Cargo expected to be moved on the flight to and from Guadalajara include automotive products, fresh produce and other general cargo.
Emirates SkyCargo has been operating in Mexico (Mexico City) since April 2014. Since then, it has transported more than 25,000 tonnes of cargo, including avocadoes, berries and other fresh produce from Mexico to markets in Europe and the Middle East.
The carrier also highlighted that during the Covid-19 pandemic, it has continued operating scheduled cargo flights every week to Mexico City, facilitating the import of medical supplies while continuing to provide a channel for exports for Mexican goods to other countries.
