MasAir set to grow fleet with two leased A330-300 P2Fs

Aircraft lessor CDB Aviation is leasing two of its Airbus A330-300 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) aircraft to Mexican freighter operator MasAir Cargo.

MasAir Cargo said the deal marks the first-ever time that it has obtained a lease for the A330-300 P2F aircraft type.

The aircraft are expected to be delivered to the carrier in the first half of next year.

Luis Sierra, chief executive of MasAir, commented: “The A330-300P2Fs from CDB will provide bigger capacity and efficiency, marking the continued process of MasAir on becoming a global player in the air cargo arena. Adding these two A330s to the two A330-200s we agreed to lease last month, we continue the path of growing our fleet with more efficient and longer-range aircraft.”

Peter Goodman, chief marketing officer at CDB Aviation, added: “We are delighted to welcome MasAir as the newest member of our growing customer base in Mexico and the Americas.”
