K+N subsidiary opens pharma facility in Singapore

QuickSTAT, a subsidiary of Kuehne+Nagel, has opened a control tower and conditioning facility for the processing and storage of pharma goods in Singapore.

The conditioning facility is located at K+N’s Singapore logistics hub and it offers “a full suite of healthcare logistics services for all stages of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle”.

K+N said features of the conditioning facility include a controlled-ambient warehouse and in-transit storage for vaccines, investigational drugs, patient clinical specimens and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

“It provides superior management of cell and gene therapies, where QuickSTAT’s specialists will ensure proper handling, packaging and storage of the time-and-temperature sensitive products,” the company said in a statement.
